What is GlobLotto?
GlobLotto was established in 2010 and is owned and operated by Power2success Co Ltd. According to their site, Globlotto was a “long thought of idea in Polish internet.” But strangely, GlobLotto is registered in Cyprus and has affiliate networks in the US. So where is GlobLotto really located? This lottery site offers 12 of the best international lotteries to bet from along with value added benefits. The games at GlobLotto include US MegaMillions and Powerball, UK’s EuroMillions and EuroJackpot as well as Czech’s Sportka and Poland’s Mini Lotto.
Who can play at GlobLotto?
All players need to be older than 18 in order to participate.
What are the Special Features/Benefits that GlobLotto has to offer?
If you refer a friend to participate at GlobLotto with you, you will gain an extra $1.50 into your account. They also have an interesting feature called the ‘Winner’s Map’ which shows where in the world the previous GlobLotto winners are located. But what happens if winners don’t want to be located? There are several scenarios where some winners don’t want their location and identity known for privacy reasons. Other than that, GlobLotto also offers a great syndicate package for those who prefer to play in a group. The site also has a mobile app for those who like to play on-the-go.
Winning at GlobLotto
If you win a prize, GlobLotto will notify you via email. If the win is less than €2,000, it will be transferred automatically into your account within 24 hours after the official lottery draw. Even though they make no mention of how to obtain any prizes over €2,000, we are left to assume that you will need to claim it in person. Furthermore, GlobLotto does not neglect to mention that taxes may be charged on “withdrawals exceeding specific amounts”, but they don’t specify what those amounts are. What’s more is, they have a ‘Website fees’ clause in their T&C’s which states that “10% fee for the Website will be charged off winnings exceeding ……………” – Exceeding what exactly? Once again, they do not specify.
What about Customer Service?
We appreciate the effort they have put into their FAQ page as well as providing all of the addresses for their offices and affiliates. Our only problem is that whilst they do have a contact form and email address, they do not have any telephone numbers displayed. The FAQ page and contact pages are also not easily accessible on the site.
Would we recommend GlobLotto
In all fairness, they are registered and they have a wide variety of lotteries to bet from. Our issue with their service are their hidden charges and taxes that they don’t specify. For that reason alone, we will have to give this site a go.
